A rarely seen vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 2457 with “Gubelin” double sign.
A little bit about the Ref. 2457. It shares all the golden features of the 96 except for the seconds complication. The 2457 is fitted with the Cal.27SC, giving it central seconds instead of subseconds commonly associated with the 96. This was considered an “upgrade” back then as central second movements were new and more complicated to produce.
The Ref. 2457 is difficult to come by as it is, being able to source and offer one that is double signed truly is a pleasure of ours.
